Scan Items

On page Point of Sale Sell you can scan items or resources. The system first searches for an item. If no item is found, the resources are searched. When searching the items, the item no. and the item references of type Bar Code are involved. When searching the resources, the resources code-field is searched.

When scanning a barcode, a new line containing the found entity is created. Following scans of already present entities will increase the quantity of the line.

Tip

You can enter a number followed by a '*'-Symbol (e.g. 3*) into the scan-field. After scanning the item, the entered number is used instead of a fixed quantity of 1. You can also use this feature when entering the lot no. in the item tracking.
