    Create a VAT statement

[!INCLUDE[prod_short](../../includes/prod_short.md)] lets you submit a periodic report of VAT transactions. The VAT statement is submitted as an FDF file that corresponds with an editable PDF file from the tax authorities.

    Hinweis

As of July 1, 2026, Austria introduced a reduced VAT rate of 4.9%. If you have transactions that use this rate, create VAT posting groups that reflect it. When you create the VAT statement, the base amounts for domestic and intra-community 4.9% transactions are automatically included in positions KZ124 and KZ125 in both the XML file and the U30 PDF form.

    Wichtig

You must fill in detailed information about your company address on the Company Information page before you create the VAT statement. This includes the street, house number, floor number, and room number. This information is included in the FDF file.
